Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · Governed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)

Txform.ph ("Txform", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the personal data of the bookkeepers, CPA firms, and their clients who use our service. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you hold under Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

Note for review: This policy is prepared for launch with the firm's details filled in. We recommend a final review by legal counsel, and confirming whether the firm must register its Data Protection Officer with the NPC, before public launch.

1. Who we are

Txform.ph is operated by TalloCPA, a CPA firm based in Iloilo City, Philippines. For any privacy matter you may contact our Data Protection Officer, Erol Jay Tallo, CPA, at privacy@txform.ph.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, and firm details when you register or request early access.
  • Client & accounting data — the sales, purchase, payroll, receivable and payable records you upload, and the taxpayer information (names, TINs, addresses, amounts) contained in them.
  • Usage data — technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the app, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the service — booking your uploads, generating tax reports, and producing BIR forms and schedules.
  • To operate your account, process subscription billing, and provide support.
  • To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your clients' accounting data for advertising.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the bases permitted by RA 10173: your consent, the performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Txform (such as our cloud hosting and payment processor), under confidentiality obligations, and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose data where required by law or lawful order of a competent authority.

6. Data retention

We keep account and accounting data for as long as your account is active and for the period required by Philippine tax and accounting record-keeping rules. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

Connections to Txform are encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Data is backed up on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule with defined retention. Access to production data is restricted. See our Security page for more.

8. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to rectify, to erase or block, to data portability, to damages, and to lodge a complaint. To exercise any of these, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@txform.ph. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date.
